ABOUT NWA LAND TRUST

There is an opportunity for preservation through partnerships with:

  • Private landowners
  • Government entities
  • Real estate developers

The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust engages in promoting community awareness of the issues and of the existence of the land trust as a means to hold and protect land and hold conservation easements. Landowners can preserve a single special feature on their land, define appropriate limitations on its development, or conserve an entire landscape.

The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust partners with landowners to provide for the permanent protection of their land through:

  • Conservation Easements
  • Transfer of Development Rights
  • Land Donation
  • Long-term Leases

These tools enable NALT to insure the perpetual stewardship of lands placed in their care, often providing tax benefits to those involved.
