Volunteer to Restore Flint Creek

Join the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust and the Illinois River Watershed Partnership for a morning of hands-on conservation at Flint Creek Headwaters Preserve!

Help us hand-pull invasive garlic mustard, a plant that threatens native habitats and the overall health of our waterways. Flint Creek, an important tributary of the Illinois River, provides a source of clean drinking water for communities in eastern Oklahoma. By restoring this area, volunteers help protect biodiversity, improve ecosystem health, and safeguard water quality for the long term.

Whether you’re passionate about conservation or just looking for a meaningful way to spend a morning outdoors, this event is perfect for you.
