About the event

Without using advanced technology, workshop students will learn how to create wildly interesting images produced in-camera without the aid of Photoshop. Techniques such as zoom burst, bokeh photography (extreme shallow depth of field) and painting with light, intentional camera movement will be taught in this workshop. Registration limited to 10 participants.

About Diane M. Hausam:

Diana Michelle earned her degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas. In 2009 she was the recipient of the Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts Annual Bibba Pruet Scholarship. She teaches photography and Photoshop at Northwest Technical Institute as well as the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. She displays her Fine Art at galleries and museums both locally and regionally. She directed the documentary short Westland about the reclusive artist Tim West, which has aired on AETN and was a part of the 2014 PBS Online Film Festival. www.dianamichellefineart.com

- This workshop takes place outside at Wilson Springs Preserve. It is recommended that you wear hiking boots or some other sturdy footwear. Bug spray is also recommended.

- This workshop is weather dependent. If the workshop is rescheduled or canceled, you will be notified via the email address you provide during registration.

- Parking for access to Wilson Springs Preserve is generously allowed by Sam's Club, located at 3081 AR-112 in Fayetteville. You may park on the south side of the lot (facing the trees) and look for the kiosk entrance.
