The Bobby Hopper Tunnel is a well-known landmark on Interstate 49, serving as the gateway welcoming northbound travelers into Northwest Arkansas. In 2019 the Land Trust completed a conservation easement with generous supporters Christina Moore and Paul Green protecting 700 acres of this iconic viewshed and wildlife corridor forever. The protected tract on either side of the tunnel serves as an anchor point from which the Land Trust is working to build a corridor of protected lands for wildlife moving throughout our region.

Join Land Trust staff for a tour of our Rotten Bluff Hollow conservation easement. We will start the day with a brief overview of the Land Trust, including the basics of conservation easements. Afterwards, Land Trust staff will lead an optional hike around the property.
