About the event
Come join the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust for a special Earth Day volunteer event at Wilson Springs, our 121-acre wet prairie restoration site, where we will be picking up litter, controlling invasive plant species, and unveiling a new immersive art installation, “Wilson Circle” by artist Craig Colorusso, which uses audio to create a small oasis of sound, further connecting participants to the environment around them.
Tools, water, and snacks will be provided, but please bring a water bottle and work gloves if you have them. Don't forget to wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
We’ll plan to meet and park at the Wilson Springs Preserve main trailhead located on the south side of the Sam’s Club parking lot in Fayetteville, 3081 AR-112. The event is free but registration is required.
