Gains hands-on experience in environmental education as an intern at the Kessler Mountain Outdoor Classroom & Nature Center. Duties include leading field trips for local schools and community groups, developing new exhibits, and performing regular upkeep of the facilities. Applicants should have a strong interest in environmental education and an interest in working with kids. Relevant coursework in biology, environmental science or related field is preferred. Internship credits may be available for college students. Environmental Education Interns work 10-12 hours a week.
