Northwest Arkansas Land Trust is hiring! We are looking to hire a Creative and Marketing Manager who will be responsible for ensuring Northwest Arkansas Land Trust’s (NWALT) visual identity, branding, publications, and online presence are consistently professional, inclusive, effective and integrated within our mission to save the land, water, and wildlife that make NWA a special place to call home.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the NWALT brand, including brand integrity and visibility across the organization, and training staff on brand and messaging standards
Oversee ongoing storytelling efforts that share our mission with a diverse audience of stakeholders
Manage, design, edit, and publish NWALT’s print and electronic communications including e-newsletters, annual reports, advocacy alerts, research and reports, and other publications
Manage strategy, design, and content development for NWALT’s website.
Direct and monitor all NWALT social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
Develop relationships with area news agencies and reporters, ensure press releases are sent strategically and NWALT is featured in print, on television, online and through radio news outlets
Track progress and effectiveness of communications and marketing activities
Support the completion of NWALT’s Racial and Intersectional Equity (RIE) Plan and RIE grant outcomes, including working with Executive Director, Director of Engagement and Giving, RIE consultant, and other staff, board members and partners
Work with colleagues to plan and execute community engagement strategies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Adept in graphic design through use of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite
Proven ability to organize time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines
Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree and/or a combination of 5+ years’ relevant experience
Experience working with a non-profit; board of directors, donors, volunteers, and the public
Experience producing and editing written publications and maintaining websites
Experience and knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations and implementation
Second language
PAY AND BENEFITS:
Salary commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills (up to $46,000 annually)
Paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal leave (PTO)

Professional memberships and training encouraged and paid for by NWALT
