On March 31st at 6:00 PM, the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust will be hosting a special event in conjuction with Northsong Wildbird Rehabilitation at Lake Francis Preserve to release a Barred Owl into its newly protected habitat. The Barred Owl, which was rehabilitated by Northsong Wildbird Rehabilitation, will be released into the wild in front of a group of attendees. This release provides an opportunity for participants to witness the successful conservation efforts of the Land Trust and to learn more about the importance of preserving natural habitats for birds of prey in Northwest Arkansas.
