Come join NWALT staff and partners at Wilson Springs Preserve, a unique wet prairie located at the headwaters of Clabber Creek in the Illinois River Watershed. This 121-acre preserve is the largest wetland remnant in Fayetteville and one of the last tall grass prairies in the region as we shine a spotlight on its diverse aspects, with a special focus on its fascinating critters and flora!
Delve into the realm of herpetology with guided hikes led by experts from the Willson Lab of Herpetology at the University of Arkansas. Discover the hidden wonders of amphibians and reptiles that call Wilson Springs home. For nature enthusiasts, the Land Trust's stewardship team will guide hikes tailored to explore the intricate web of ecosystem communities thriving in the area.
